What the heck is wrong with this kid? At least Kansas didn't get him either. Why does there have to be something wrong with the kid just because he didn't pick UK? The kid made a choice. He wanted to stay home close to family and play with friends. The NBA doesn't go through UK. There is still 6 months until the season starts. A lot can change between then. BSC |

It's not a done deal yet. According to KentuckySportsRadio's latest tweet. There apparently is second thought going on by Jones after Coach Cal called him shortly after the press conference and talked to him. Jones has yet to sign his LOI with Washington. Keep tuned...

Let me clear this up a little. It was Jones that called Coach Cal because it would been a voliation if Coach Cal called Jones. Supposedly a silent verbal was given Coach Cal. Trying to nail down the truth to that statement.

There's nothing wrong with Jones picking Washington, it's a good school and very competitive and also will allow his parents and friends get to see him easier. It's just that he would have plugged a big hole at Kentucky and been coached by an ex NBA coach that just put 5 guys into the pros.
