Gainesville, FL (U-WIRE) -- Matt Walsh has finally spoken, and the former Florida guard has just one message: He's fully confident. Walsh -- and five other players in the Southeastern Conference including teammate Anthony Roberson -- declared for the NBA draft as underclassmen, but were not selected in two-round draft. More..click here]I believe he will play in the NBA soon, how soon I would be afraid to guess. He and Roberson would surely have put UF up in the upper tier if they had stayed just as Buike and Morris would have UK.

I think he does have a chance to play in the NBA but it may take a couple of years. He is one of those players who may lack the athletic ability in certain areas that the NBA looks for. But it all boils down to hooking on with the right team that can incorporate his skills with the system they already run, Phoenix and Sacremento come to my mind.
To me he looks like someone who can really excel in the European league, because of his passing skills and his unlimited shooting range. Maybe he can make a name for hiself over there and make his stock rise for the NBA in the future!
