The NCAA put enough pressure on Tennessee for them to kick Pearl to the curb. I hate to say it but I'm going to miss him, I thought he did a great job of reviving the rivalry between UK and UT.

I never liked Pearl as a person or some of those antics he pulled. But i will say that he was a good coach who gave life to a lifeless basketball program. And he did make it easy to dislike him as a UK fan! It will be difficult, but not impossible, for them to find someone as good a coach as Pearl who is willing to play third fiddle there behind football and womens basketball!

I read that article too Sandman and was wondering why wouldn't Pearl want to stay squeaky clean after his job was already in jeopardy? Doesn't make sense does it?

I'm actually going to miss him in some sick sort of way.  I agree that I don't know what coach that UT could attract to their basketball program. I don't understand why Mike Hamilton isn't fearing for his job. He certainly has a questionable hiring record. |

Please scroll down to the seventh paragraph from the bottom in the article I linked, where it talks about Bruce's current wife stating that she now knows two Jewish people who have been crucified!
