This is a surprise to me but he was ranked 19th in the 2010 class and is a good pickup. He'll have to sit out a year but that will make him much better as he'll have to go up against Teague every day.

I was surprised too until i looked at a little bit of the background. Most experts rate the high school point guard class very weak of the upcoming year. Cal saw an oppurtunity to get a highly ranked talented player who will be a 3rd year sophomore and thought that would be our best option. Cal continues to amaze me by being a step ahead of everyone!

I'm kinda surprised that he's transferring since he will have to sit out a year. I just hope he's as good as we hope he is. It seems that we won't be lacking good guards for some time to come.

The coach that recruited him to NC State was fired. As much as I hate to admit it, I think these kids commit to a coach rather than a school many times.

MOST of the time, the highest rank players these days do commit to a coach!
