TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Darius Washington had 23 points and six assists as No. 12 Memphis ran past No. 15 Alabama 87-76 in the second round of the Preseason NIT on Thursday night.
The Tigers (2-0) kept Alabama off balance all night with an aggressive full-court press and a fastbreak that beat the Crimson Tide down court much of the game.

Bama made a game of it in the second half but the Tigers proved too tough. Bama will improve!
