Bobby Petrino placed on administrative leave

Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino has been placed on administrative leave tonight after he admitted to having “a previous inappropriate relationship.”

News broke earlier today that, according to the police report, Petrino was riding with Jessica Dorrell, a 25-year-old former Arkansas volleyball player and a recent hire in the Arkansas football office, when he crashed his motorcycle outside Fayetteville on Sunday night.

Administrative leave is probably nothing compared to what is happening at home. He's probably earned a lot of couch time for his little escapade.

Its a good thing Petrino is a GREAT offensive mind. He had questionable ethics and morales even before this escapade!

He's definately not a paragon of virtue, that's for sure. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. He took an Arky program that was down, and has them flirting (no pun intended) with a NC. On the other hand, this is more than just a case of a married man going out on his wife. Petrino hired this gal to work in the fb dept. just a few days before this happened. This situation has lawsuit written all over it, to me. I sure wouldn't want to be the Arky A.D.

Sorry, been gone for a couple of days. Petrino's situation except for the vehicle accident isn't much different than Pitino's and he's still working and married. Petrino's wife and school may not be as forgiving though.

The one, in my opinion, significant difference between Pitino and Petrino's situations is that Petrino gave this gal a job in the fb dept., just a few days before this happened. Dating a subordinate is a no-no, in this day and time. If this gal wants to sue, it seems she'd have a very good case against Petrino and Ark., in my opinion.
