Bobby Petrino talked time and again about winning a national championship at Arkansas. From the day he was hired in 2007, Petrino never wavered in that goal or belief. Petrino won't have that chance now, felled by scandal, and he blamed no one but himself for being fired. The whole situation was a bit more involved than most thought. Not that it was right, but Pitino's was a one night stand, not a full blown relationship with someone half his age. It may take more than a while, if ever, for Petrino to weather this storm.

I'm predicting Bobby P. will land somewhere, maybe even as early as this coming season. Someone with a program that needs some life breathed into it, will take a chance on him. There are some people on another site, of which I'm a member, that would like to see him at UK.

Petrino will never coach at UK, wont even be considered.
He is one of the worst people to ever lead a major college sports program and that doesnt mean im judging him for his extramarital situation. Thats just his honesty and integrity which have been proven to be zero over the years!
Lastly, i have no doubt he will land another job. Proud schools with no integrity, no scruples who will win at any and all costs exist out there in the college football world. After Dooley falls on his face in Knoxville one more year, Petrino fits in with that crowd in Knoxville perfectly. So dont be surprised!

I agree with you 100% about the ewe tee thing, uk9698. If/when they have an opening, I would not be at all surprised to see the Vols go after Petrino. If they hire him, we'll never beat then again as long as he's their coach.

Agreed. He is a great coach. Fails miserably as a human being.

I think I would have demanded more than that if I were her. BTA, she probably didn't deserve that unless it was for salary and severance pay.
