haha i think pretty good was being modest and conservative. As far as Shabazz, i wish him well. Seemed like a nice kid, i just think he got some bad advice. UCLA is a mess right now and Howland's style has been the same for years it isnt going to change away from that big east style of basketball after all these years!

A lot of folks are hoping Bennett will sign but that would be the same spot as Alex Poythress unless he can play SF. It's being rumored that at least one of the starting five is returning. It could be one of three or even two of three in my book. MKG, Lamb or Teague. I hate to play basically the same starting five of IU with a totally new crew. Because of Zeller announcing his staying in school, IU is picked as the #1 team in the early preseason polls. Our swagger would be short lived if IU won it all this coming season.

If any of the three return, I'm guessing it will be Teague, but I'm doubting even he will return. And yes, you're right Bubba, Cal isn't through, yet.

The Indiana series is apparently in some jeopardy. I am not sure if that means next year or not. But apparently IU wants home and home, while UK is pushing to go back to neutral courts every year.
With that said, the rumors are flying around like crazy about one of our five possible early entrants returning. Here is my take on it.
Davis - Gone
Terrence - Gone
MKG - I have heard from several sources that he really does want to come back. But I am not sure if he can convince his mom and coach cal that it would be a good move for him. He even tweeted about Noel last night, welcome to bbn, lets rock now!
Teague - Probably is gone, but another year wouldnt hurt him. i think the ego may get in his way about Cal's point guards going after one year.
Lamb - even though there was some talk he may have went last year. I personally think he could benefit the most by coming back. He is not going to be able to play two guard in the pros and another year of working at point guard can only help him. IF one comes back, it would be nice if it was him. He could fill so many holes!
In the end i would be pleasantly surprised if any came back and how could any of us as fans begrudge them, even if they were making a bad choice after what they did for us this past season!
Whew bubba, enjoy the championship for a couple of weeks before you worry about losing our swagger to IU next year. IU will be good next season but VERY far from a juggernaut!

Oh believe me 96, I am enjoying the win very, very much. Everywhere I go, everyone says something about the Cats winning it all. As soon as my roof gets replaced, the UK flag will fly every single day until the start of the season. I would fly it then but I don't want my roof to leak  . |
