SEC level of play, talent suffering

"We may be a little down," Alabama Coach Mark Gottfried said. "We can't lose the number of high-caliber players we have and not take a hit.

"To try to convince someone otherwise is a little far-fetched."

Of course, Kentucky lost Kelenna Azubuike and, it appears, Randolph Morris -- two potential all-conference players.

It certainly seems for whatever reason the SEC seems to have more players who are unrealistic about their skils then any other conference!
