There are four reasons to take the Commodores seriously: 1. Vandy had to go to the final minutes to beat Wake Forest and Arkansas -- and did it. That's a huge improvement over last season, when the Commodores lost three games in which they held a double-digit lead in the second half. 2. Vandy beat both Wake and Arkansas on the road. They haven't started 2-0 in that fashion since 1943, and if you throw that out as a war year, you have to go back to 1903 to find a similar start. A person can't hardly not feel good for them though after being down all these years. Kinda like UK isn't it?

I feel VERY good for Vandy. It just goes to show you if you can win in the SEC with their type of academic requirments and restrictions that it is possible at UK! I will be cheering for them in every game this year except one!!

They are 3-0 now. They look pretty good early. But, they are in the SEC.

IMO, Vandy has a terrific chance of going to a bowl. I haven't looked at their schedule yet but we know of one team they will probably beat, US!

My thoughts are this, they have 3 games left at home they will probably win. Richmond, Middle Tennessee and us! Thats gives them their 6 wins!!
It is hard to imagine that Vandy is not only 3-0 overall but 2-0 in conference!

If we get most of our injuries healed, UK will still give Vandy a fit and maybe sneak a win. That is, unless they're not anymore fired up than the IU game.

If we put out the same effort in the rest of our games that we put out in Indiana, not only will we not win another game we wont even come close! The only exception might be Miss. State at home. Inidiana is better then they were last year, but AT BEST they are a 4th or 5th place finisher in the SEC East!
