UGA's Gurley suspended amid investigation over autographs

ATHENS - Less than 48 hours before one of Georgia’s most important games of the season, word came down that jeopardized the Bulldogs' chances in that game, the rest of the season, and the Heisman Trophy hopes of its best player.

Superstar tailback Todd Gurley has been suspended as UGA investigates whether he accepted cash in exchange for signing memorabilia.

If it turns out to be true, Georgia will slip just a bit. It doesn't look like he will play for them for a while regardless, the NCAA takes forever to rule on things.
