Friday, Kentucky's softball team picked up its first win against a top-ranked team.
Saturday, the 15th-ranked Wildcats ensured their first series win against a No. 1, rallying to drop LSU 5-2 at John Cropp Stadium.
UK (23-8, 3-5 Southeastern Conference) will go for a sweep Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Wildcats, who won Friday's opener 3-1, are now 7-0 at home. That ties the best start in program history, first set in 2006 and matched last year.
