There's lots of chatter out there that there's a very good chance the Thunder are going to fire their coach and, if they do, they're going to make a big push for coach Donovan.

They might make a push for Donovan but I bet they don't get him. That is, unless his feelings were hurt about what some may have said about him not doing too well with their Gators this season. I thought I read the other day that his salary had been boosted to about 4 million a year, hard to turn that down while living in sunny Florida with his best two friends.

Actually, I hope coach Donovan stays at Fl. I also hope Bama and Miss St.'s new coaches are successful. I'd like for the SEC to, at least, be respectable in bb. As I've stated a kazillion times before, I wish we were in the ACC. I believe it would be good for both the bb and fb programs. I know it would be good for the fb program. I may be way off base, but I feel playing in a weak conf. hurt the bb team's chances of winning the NC. We played, arguably, the two best teams of the year in ND and Wisc. One nearly beat us,and the other one did.

I don't mind if the other teams in the SEC get stronger, it would at least get our players more pumped up to play them if nothing else. I don't think I would enjoy UK being in the ACC though, I've seen enough of "The Shot" to last a lifetime. Heck, ESPN already has IU's "Shot" in one of their promos. Back to Donovan. If Donovan does leave, I'm thinking he may take the gang with him or at least Pelphrey. Time will tell.
