It seems we can't get a compromise but that's life. We got an inch and a quarter and it didn't phase the ground a bit hardly.

It's tapered off here, for the time being, and I'm not going to complain. A lot of rain means too little golf, and too much mowing to me. Both are negatives, in my book, so I'm going to enjoy the dry spell.  |

I have seen it a lot worse. One year it was so dry, the grass was crunchy when you walked on it.
