This weather we're getting is almost like spring. I've never seen so much rain like this at this time of the year in my life. I think I'd almost rather have snow, at least it enters the soil at a much slower pace as it melts. If it was warmer, my yard could pass for a swimming pool. At least I should be thankful we're not getting as much as the states down south are ... they are really catching it.

We're getting quite a bit as well, Bubba. It's supposed to end tomorrow for awhile. It's turning cooler Thursday with several days of highs in the low to mid 40's and lows in the low to mid 20's. Not bad weather, temp wise, for this time of the year.

As far as getting colder, they've changed our forcast on New Year's eve and New Year from 48/50 to 34/34. That's nippy, especially when those are the highs. I don't think we're going to do anything on New Year, I've had a blasted cold for the last four days. This is my second one this year and that's very unusual for me.

At least the yard is still somewhat green. This fall I mowed the yard the latest into the year I can remember!

At least the yard is still somewhat green. This fall I mowed the yard the latest into the year I can remember! Same here on the yard mowing/mulching, I'm thinking it was the first week in December. We had a storm come through about a week ago and my yard is so full of branches, it's not funny. I've gotten my driveway in halfway decent shape but it was a tough job, especially with having a cold We've still got two more months of winter left yet, I might have to hire someone to clean my yard come spring.
