Our power was off last night for three hours due to a sub station failure of some sort in town, it got pretty chilly. I saw where KY and quite a bit of the East Coast is going to catch some pretty bad weather, I hope it's less than predicted. I'll be thinking about you Sandman and hoping for the best. I was supposed to go to a Chamber of Commerce dinner tonight but I just let the wife in on the fact I may not be going. I know she's disappointed but having to sit amongst a bunch of Hoosiers (whom some are friends) while UK is playing is a bit too much for me to bear. I'm thinking some would be asking me what's wrong with KY and I'm just not in the mood to go that route. Especially when some of the locals will be watching the game in the lounge that is adjacent to where the dinner/meeting is and of course will be rooting for us to lose and before I can get home to watch the game I recorded, I would probably hear the result. Oh well, such is life, doghouse here I come.

I tell you, when you're tired there's no telling how some words will come out. I was looking at my weather post and thought to myself, that's not how you spell Kentuckians. Oh well, so be it.

Thanks for the well wishes, Bubba. I'd estimate that we have approx. a foot of snow now and it's still pouring down. It's suppose to continue throughout the night, then taper off to snow showers tomorrow. It's supposed to be 23 tonight 28 tomorrow and seven tomorrow night, so I imagine this will be around for a few days. Our elect. went off about 5:45 this morning and they had it back on by 7:15. I don't know how much utility workers make, but it's not nearly enough, in my opinion. Here's wishing that you and yours and all BBH members stay safe and warm.

I know for sure I couldn't be a lineman that can't be a fun job. I've had to work in extremes before and it isn't to my liking at all.

I re read your post and even though I didn't mention it, I'm very sorry about the bad weather you received. It seemed like last year we were getting a lot of snow. My Navy buddy in New Jersey is getting hit pretty hard too. We still have about two inches but hopefully it will be gone in a few days.
