I'm sure a lot of money was lost on this game as many thought Newton and the Panthers would win. I thought it was nice that Manning won, especially after the Colts let him go. I would think that this was his final season and on an ultimate high after not only winning the Super Bowl and his 200th game.

I was happy for Peyton as well. As you say, Bubba, one would have to believe this was his final game. I'm sure he's more than financially secure. The only thing to be gained by coming back, in my opinion, is risking serious injury or death or, at the very least, being relegated to the bench.

I agree Sandman, to play another season after this would be counterproductive to his image and physical well being as well. |
