Humidity is stinking

It's hard to plan many activities unless its early morning or late afternoon. We went jeeping after supper around 8 PM after things had cooled a bit. I sprayed weeds and mowed the yard ahead of the rain we're suppose to get over the next three days and was totally drenched and overheated. We'll probably be wishing for some of this weather this winter as the forecast is supposed to be a bit colder than normal. Oh well, what can a person do but deal with it.

When the temps are from the mid 80's to low 90's, and the humidity is about the same, it really becomes brutal.

True, I was commenting to my wife that it seems like the weather I encountered in the philippines in the 60's. It didn't bother me then, I was 20 but it sure bothers me now though and how.

..Bubba, didn't know you had been to the Philippines...I pulled in there 15 times during my time in Westpac...had 6 1/2 years on ships homeported outta Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan, so got a lot of opportunities to pull in there on Liberty!..as well as just about every port you could go to in Westpac multiple times..

..yeah, this has been one hot and humid summer for yard work...I just do it anyways no matter what time of day it is..i usually just make sure I have some cold beer in my garage fridge to enjoy after it's over!..

I never was fortunate enough to make it to Japan but did two tours overseas and went to Subic Bay, Manila, Hong Kong, Hawaii and oh yeah, Viet Nam. We even got to go on liberty in Cam Ranh Bay once.
