I'm going to try and mulch some leaves today and finish up tomorrow. I'm pretty sure that will do me for the year and will probably do me in as well.

Well I sucked it up and did all of my mulching in one day instead of two. I'm sure I'm going to be very sore tomorrow.

I need to mulch one more time, but I don't know if it's going to happen. We're starting to get a lot of rain here plus it's getting pretty cold as well. I'm going to put the battery maintainer on the mower tomorrow. I can always take it off if I need to.

I'm done for the year even though the leaves are still falling. Too cold and wet to fool with it any more. The bad thing is, my neighbor's yard is ankle deep in leaves which means eventually they'll find their way to my yard.  |

I imagine I'm done, for the same reasons, Bubba. My yard doesn't look too bad. One more time would have been about right but it's raining a lot here plus it's supposed to be 18 Thur. night and 17 Fri. night.

I still got a big Bradford pear that is fully loaded...it should start to fall here pretty soon...then, it's get the leaves outta the gutters!

I finally had some gutter screens put in and so far, they have saved me a few trips up on the bi-level to blow them out. I was skeptical at first but so far, they've done well. My yard is beginning to look like I haven't touched it but it's too late to worry about it now. Good luck with your pear tree leaves. |

..mulched the Bradford pear leaves about a week ago...will have to mulch one more time on them...an oak tree in the neighbors yard keeps their leaves pretty long too...I'm gonna have to get them again sometime when it warms up...hell, it never stops!...lol...

My yard almost looks like I haven't touched it, I was thinking about one more mulch as well but don't know if it's going to happen ... too wet.
