TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama leading scorer Chuck Davis injured his right knee Saturday night and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Davis was injured with 13 minutes left in the first half after trying to block a shot in a 71-61 loss to Mississippi.
"We've been dealt a tough blow," coach Mark Gottfried said. "Our doctors told me it's pretty much 100 percent certain that he's torn his ACL and is done for the year."

Tough break for the Bama team and even though we play them next week, I wish this hadn't happened to them. Sometimes a wounded animal is more dangerous, let's hope our boys realize that and tend to business.
