Snow and very low temps are here for a few days and then it warms up to almost 50. That kind of stuff makes people sick. I haven't taken a flu shot for about ten years and am not going to start now.

Your forecast sounds very similar to ours, Bubba. I'm 72 years old and had never taken a flu shot in my life. Then about four years ago I got the flu (diagnosed by a physician). I've heard that if you ever really have the flu, you'll know it. I certainly agree with that. Even year since then, I've taken a flu shot. I never want to be that sick again. I've also had a pneumonia shot, which is supposed to be a once in a lifetime thing unless they come out with a new and improved version. I've had a shingles vaccination as well.

I've had the flu so many times I can't count them all but I still refuse to get shots anymore. I just wash my hands a lot and use sanitary wipes when available.
