He also said he wants to practice with them this season, not go pro and play next season with the Cats. If this holds true, we will again be loaded.

Diallo said the other day that he is playing by ear what lies ahead for his basketball time at UK. In other words, he may or may not play this season, he may or may not declare for the draft come spring. If he knew what was best for him, he would go by his original statement of not playing this season and staying with UK next season. As we all know, money, fame and egos have a way of changing things.

I can't recall there ever having been a situation like this. He may or may not play this season and he may or may not go pro after this season. If he does, he'll probably be college bb's first 1/2 and done. If he does leave, after this season, the media and fans of rival schools will absolutely fry Cal's rearend.

I totally agree with all that you said. It will be a big time first for sure and if it happens, may make coaches a bit more apprehensive the next time.

I read, on another site, that he's been assigned a number (4) and will be available next game.

I don't think Cal plays him but you never know. That still doesn't keep him from going into the draft at the end of the season.

I read somewhere that Cal said he's leaving it up to Diallo as to whether or not he plays. This seems like a strange way to coach a team, but it seems to work for Cal.

I hope it doesn't interrupt the chemistry of the team if he does play.
