The first forecast had us with very high temperatures but after the big storm that went through, they changed it to be fairly mild. That sure doesn't hurt my feelings. It was 82 today and the wifey and I took advantage and had lunch at the park in town.

The 10 day, for Corbin, has us with a couple of upper 70's. Everything else is in the 80's. The rain has really dropped off the past couple of weeks, and the trend seems to be continuing. That means less mowing which makes the ole Sandman happy.

It's currently 69 here in Corbin and overcast. It seems like a Fall day. The low predicted for tonight is 55. I know there's still lots of heat and humidity to come, but this is a welcome respite from what we've had the past few weeks.

We turned off the AC and opened the house up, you can't beat these temps for this time of the year for sure.

We're still having nights in the 50's. The Weather Channel is predicting a pretty high chance of rain every day Mon.-Fri.
