LEXINGTON, Ky. – Big Blue Nation reaffirmed its status as the No. 1 fan base in college basketball with the completion of the 2017-18 regular season.
For the 20th time in the last 23 seasons -- and the third straight season -- UK led the country in average home attendance in the regular season with 21,875 fans per game (the NCAA's official attendance title will be decided at the completion of postseason tournaments). Since Rupp Arena opened for the 1976-77 season, UK has ranked either first or second in average home attendance every season.
